Evan Knott
Assistant Coach
Evan Knott is in his fifth year as an assistant baseball coach at Mount Union.
Knott was an all-region and two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection as a four-year letterwinner playing for the Purple Raiders. He was a career .352 hitter with 95 RBI in 112 career games.
The Canton, Ohio native and GlenOak High School alum graduated from Mount Union in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Business. He spent a year working for Interstate Fire & Security before returning to Mount Union.
Cory Douglass
Assistant Coach
Cory Douglass is in his fourth season as an assistant baseball coach at Mount Union.
Douglass has assistant coaching stints at Lincoln West High School and Cuyahoga Community College both in Cleveland and most recently was an assistant coach at Hiram College. He also has spent four years working for Major League Baseball in Cleveland as head coach of a 18U team as part of the RBI program to revitalize youth baseball in urban settings.
As a player, he earned three varsity letters as a pitcher at Mount Union. He led the Purple Raiders in pitching appearances in two seasons including his senior year in 2012 when the team set a new school record for victories in a season.
A native of Garfield Heights, Ohio, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from Mount Union.
